Civic Engagement in Practice
Building on the wide variety of activity already occurring at Illinois State, the American Democracy Project is designed to serve as a catalyst for programmatic changes that will ensure that all Illinois State undergraduates are fully prepared to assume a responsible role as contributors to civic society.
As a result of the Project, faculty may decide to incorporate new elements of civic engagement in certain courses, or there may be new initiatives taken on by student organizations.
