This exciting program in Paris is a wonderful opportunity for students to not only earn credit towards their Communication major or minor, but also to experience the amazing city of Paris.
Students participating in this program will complete communication classes at Novancia, a state-of-the-art business school in Paris, France. Novancia prepares people from all over the world for today's international market by providing educational and training programs.
Those who participate in this program will become more confident and knowledgeable about careers in the global environment. In addition, the faculty director for this program will accompany the students for the first two weeks of the program.
Participants will be housed in student residences by the educational coordinator for this program, ACCENT, which plans the excursions, cultural activities, orientation, and access to ACCENT computer lab, library, and facilities.
The student residences may be double or triple occupancy in a self-catered apartment. Classes are easily accessible by mass transit (the Metro) which is also included in the cost.
Students earn 6 hours of 300-level Communication credit, applicable to majors and minors in the School of Communication.
Course Titles:
“Intercultural Management: Values and Behaviors in the Multi-cultural Workplace,” articulates as COM 372: Intercultural Communication.
“Global Marketing and Communication,” articulates as COM 369: International Communication Systems.
*If either of these courses have been completed at ISU, it will articulate as a COM 300-level elective.
Students must have earned a 2.7 GPA and 36 credit hours by the January before they attend the program.
