TV10
Mission and Goals
TV-10 doubles as a working laboratory and an academic unit that provides students with hands-on training in broadcast journalism and production. The School of Communication’s philosophy of blending theoretical and applied learning since TV-10's inception in 1974 has produced thousands of successful professionals throughout the state and the country, both in front of the camera as well as behind.
TV-10 also serves the community by providing daily live news coverage and specialty shows focusing on local sports, entertainment and issues.

Student Roles
Students do the work at TV-10. They are the photographers, reporters, producers, anchors; they write the stories, create the graphics and produce the weather forecast. They do this under the guidance of faculty and staff who've all worked professionally in broadcast television.
