WZND

Mission

WZND provides practical experience and training for all ISU students interested in radio, podcasting, journalism, audio production, voicework, broadcast sales, public relations, graphic design, and related industries. WZND broadcasts 24/7/365 to the Bloomington-Normal community on 103.3 FM and online to the entire world at wznd.com. In addition to a wide selection of hit music from the 90s to today, WZND features hourly news updates, features on the local music scene, investigative in-depth news pieces, live sports, contests, and giveaways.

Student Roles

WZND selects directors and interns for each semester. Interns are selected at the beginning of each semester. It is recommended that all students interested in interning for WZND attend the General Information Meeting at the beginning of every semester. Potential interns must attend this meeting to sign up for interviews and/or auditions. Potential directors must attend the General Director Meeting for interview and application information.
