    Alumni Engagement and the Illinois State University Alumni Association work with an army of volunteers to serve the needs of all those who have graduated from or attended the University through the years, regardless of their fields of study, geographic locations, or lifetime pursuits.

  • Career COM-petency

    Here in the School of Communication, we prepare our students for fulfilling careers. But we also want our graduates to be more than just marketable candidates with a skillset in communication. We want our Redbirds to reflect our School of Communication values and embody professionalism—creating alumni employers covet.

  • Social Media Analytics Command Center (SMACC)

    Illinois State's School of Communication recently completed construction on a new Social Media Analytics and Command Center (SMACC). The SMACC is a specialized computer lab whose primary goal is to analyze public conversations from social media outlets, popular discussion forums, and major blogs.

    TV-10 turned on the studio lights and hit record in 1974. Fifty years later it has produced thousands of successful professionals in front of and behind the camera. Join us April 12th and 13th as we celerbate our alumni and station accomplishments together at the 50th anniversary milestone event.

    Here in the School of Communication at Illinois State University, we know how to make Fell Hall fun! In spring 2023, we started the COM-versations podcast with a goal to share as many 'com-versations' among faculty, staff and students.
